My knee saga continues!! I finally have some answers not great answers or anything I wanted to hear but answers non the less. I got in to see my Orthopedic surgeon a good three months earlier than originally scheduled because I called them every day to see if there were any cancellations :) I'm pretty sure they saw me just to shut me up! Anyways he saw me and I found out that I have a grade three MCL tear. The MCL is the ligament that runs beside the knee cap holding it in place so those times where my knee would go out and I would be in pain for hours are when my knee cap slipped through the tear in my MCL ligament. Gruesome right? Wait it gets worse... I went to physio last week and the physio therapist assuming that my MCL was only torn did this thing where he put a seatbelt over his shoulder and then around my knee and lifted my knee with his body weight all of a sudden my knee made a popping sound (GROSS) and he went "OH no!" I am sorry for my blogging absence it has been a pretty crazy month. Three weeks ago I seriously hurt my knee playing soccer which then ended my soccer career for this season. It was really painful and sore for the next little while I tried making an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon but he is unavailable to see me till June 10...so far away. I went to my family doctor and she couldn't find anything wrong with it and then after awhile it just started to feel better, still swollen, but better. The following Saturday I went to my friends house and as I got out of the car something happened to my knee at the time I had NO idea what was going on and I was experiencing the WORST pain (no exaggeration) that I have ever felt. I went to the ER waited 5 HOURS and then the pain just went away and I just decided to go home because I was sick of waiting and just figured the worst was over. WRONG!!! A few days after that it happened again my knee just gave out so I went to the doctors...

I play on a woman's indoor soccer league every Monday night I love it and it is alot of fun its a good way to get stress out. Anyways I am a very competitive player my nick name is Bonesaw because I kick ass and take names. ANYWAYS tonight we were playing like any normal night there was a group of four of us in a struggle over the ball when a girl from the other team started shoving me around so being the competitive person that I am I may have nudged back. The girl FLIPS out starts yelling profanities in my direction I just shrug it off and laugh because there is no point in yelling back..at one point I thought she was going to punch me. (for the record if it came to that I would have DESTROYED her) What does the ref do? Instead of carding her for swearing he looks at me and tells me to STOP LAUGHING...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! Whatever I shrugged it off not five seconds later the ref got smoked in the head with the ball and I would have laughed but apparently that isn't allow...

I always go through these spurts of blogging I used to have a xanga site but that was a different time in my life and it actually pains me to read some of those posts. A little bit about myself; I am 21 I live in Hamilton and I am potentially moving to this amazing apartment in Stoney Creek in a couple of months...but that all depends. I have experienced alot in my 21 years some things I am glad and some things that still keep me up at night but I guess that is a different blog for a different time. I spent half of my life in the US of A five years in cali and five years in Alabama and the other half has been spent here in Canada. First things first...snow was awesome my first winter here...after ten ...not so much. I am extremely competitive in so many aspects of my life I play a bunch of sports my first love is basketball though after a few seasons of indoor soccer that may change.
